The day started much cloud and although ideal for wedding photography lighting we were hoping the weather would hold and perhaps become a little brighter for the wedding of Adrian and Maria and their reception at Keele Hall, Keele University.  I had visited Keele Hall near Stoke On Trent  previously for the pre-wedding shoot and was hoping for exactly the same conditions.  Ably assisted by my second shooter for the day, Jeff Jones, we made our way to the home of Maria’s parents.

Our photography started with bridal preparation photographs with Maria, her parents and the bridesmaids and flower girl.  Light levels were particularly low but we obtained a lovely set of pictures to start the day well. We then made our way to the church in order to give ourselves time to photograph the guests arriving and to capture the unique entrance that Adrian and the Groomsmen were going to perform.

The church was surprisingly bright and spacious allowing us to take advantage of different locations – which helped with the two entrances we then photographed!

Keele Hall as ever, proved a wonderful location for the reception and group pictures and we  even  managed to obtain some Hollywood style pictures in the evening – my thanks to Adrian and Maria for wanting to join in and enjoy this fun activity too.

It was a wonderful and long day of photography but well worth it as we obtained some truly unique wedding pictures.

Thank you Adrian and Maria!.
